The Primary Prep OT Experience
At Primary Prep OT, we strive to prepare little hands and minds for success in school and beyond. Does your child struggle to grasp their pencil correctly? Do they have difficulty remembering what each letter looks like? Do they feel embarrassed because they struggle to tie their shoes? Does their handwriting appear messy and cause frustration when they can't read what they wrote? These are just a few examples of the types of skills we address in Primary Prep OT. We are completely client centered and occupation based; meaning simply, whatever is valuable to your child in order to become successful in school is what we will address in OT.

Meet Jessica
Meet Jessica
Jessica is the practice owner and has been working as a pediatric OT for nearly 15 years. She founded Primary Prep OT in order to provide expert services to children in a manner that is conducive to busy family schedules. Jessica graduated from Duke University in 2009 with her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish. She then graduated from Tufts University in 2012 with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Since graduating, Jessica has practiced exclusively as a pediatric OT in various settings and with children possessing a wide range of diagnoses and functional skills. Most recently for the last 10 years, Jessica has worked at the Schenck School, specializing in the confluence of sensorimotor skills with learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD.
When not working, Jessica enjoys trying new restaurants, indulging in some reality tv or thriller novels, and spending time with her family, including her husband, two young children, and dog.
